The Indiana Court of Appeals held Indiana’s Medical Malpractice Act’s statute of limitations violated the Privileges and Immunities Clause of the Indiana Constitution. The Court found that the Statute was no longer reasonably related to the goal of maintaining sufficient medical treatment and controlling medical malpractice insurance costs. The Court went onto say that not all minors in the class are treated equally. Ledbetter v. Hunter
